So now that I have my laptop, I’ll be getting back into media production. I actually have a couple of projects going on right now that I had to put on hold; I’m glad that I can resume. In particular, I plan to put some real time and energy into web design again (aiming for Web 2.0 or better). I think Rapid Weaver is just the tool to launch me forward.

It’s been a while since I blogged. My summer semester is really picking up; I have a group project rough draft due June 29th, a final exam on July 2nd, and a 1600-word paper due July 6th. I am getting sleep, but I wouldn’t mind a little more (especially today). But I’ll leave all of that for another post. I really wanted to talk about next week. In 7 days, I’ll be getting my new MacBook Pro!

It all started in September 2005. The journey was long; the transition was painful. But in the end, I became a Mac user. I purchased the last generation 12” iBook G4. At the time, I didn’t realize that the whole switch to Intel processors was so close. However, I was still happy with my new computer. And so began a productive life of computing—until Tuesday.
