Slow and steady wins the race. Oft times to my detriment, I forget this adage in my daily interactions. This is the lesson I’ve been learning for the past four months now. It’s taken me a while to realize that I won’t just arrive. To go to the places that God has ordained for me, I must take one step at a time.
In actuality, my progress with this website reflects the way I’ve always approached life. I set plans for myself to revise this site and keep the updates limited until the big shebang! I wanted to burst on the scene, with keyboard-and-mouse blazin’, and save the blogosphere. I focused heavily on the destination, yet forgot that it is the journey that allows me to reach the goal.
So today is the beginning of another interim period for Artisonian.com. I don’t quite have the time to work on the design I’d like to have, but that shouldn’t keep me from writing. As I get back into the flow, I’ll be making incremental changes.
Luke 14:28-30 (NASB):
For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who observe it begin to ridicule him, saying, “This man began to build and was not able to finish.”
